Here I will outline three ways to open the task manager.
The task manager is a useful tool to "kill" any processes that may have frozen or are displaying as (not responding)
1. Press Ctrl, Shift and Esc at the same time. ( Will not work on the remote server )
2. Press Ctrl, Alt and Delete at the same time. ( Will not work on the Remote Server )
You will be presented with a blue screen as above. Press Task Manager to launch it.
3. Mouse Right Click inside any empty space in on the task bar.
Press Task Manager to launch it. ( This is the only option to work on the Remote Server )
Once it is open you will be presenting with one of two possible windows. Either window works the same.
Simply select a process from the list, once highlighted click on end task and it will bypass any close down procedure and force close the selected App. Bare in mind, in some high load situations it can take some time for it to fully close a process.
